Thailand’s Nutcharat Wongharuthai won two Gold Medals (IBSF World Under-18 Snooker Championship and IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship.) in the 2017 IBSF World Snooker Championship in Beijing, China, during 17 – 22 June 2017.

In first final, Nutcharat Wongharuthai edged out her compatriot Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan in straight set (4-nil) in IBSF World Under-18 Snooker Championship. The other final, she won the 2017 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship by beating Yuying Xia of China 5-3 in the final. Nutcharat also made the record by becoming the IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Champion for two consecutive years.
