Athichai Permsap, World Men’s Youth Boxer Champion 2018, won the fourth gold medal in 60 Kg. class for Thailand, and Panpachara Somnuek won the fifth gold medal in 57 Kg. class for Thailand in the Youth Olympic 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 17 October 2018.

          The Argentina tournament ended on 19 October 2018 with Thailand enjoying their best-ever performance  at the Youth Olympics.  The Thais won five gold, five silver and two bronze medals and were ranked 11^th overall.
