Sixteen-year-old Kanthida Saengsin  won first gold medal for Thailand in the Taekwondo’s Girls under 55 kg. Category at the 3^rd Youth Olympic in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 10 October 2018.

          This Quadrennial tournament is for athletes aged 14-18.  Senegal will host the fourth games in 2022, and Thailand has expressed her interest in staging the 2026 tournament.
