Kamonchanok Kwanmuang, a rising national Thai youth swimmer aged 13 years, competed in the 42^nd South East Asia Age Group Swimming Championships in Manila, the Republic of the Philippines during 6 – 8 July 2018, and won 7 gold medals in Freestyle 200, 400 and 800 meters, Single Mix 200 and 400 meters, and Butterfly 100 and 200 meters.

Kamonchanok Kwanmuang  smashed 5 Thailand National Junior records (under 13 years) in freestyle 200, 400, 800 meters and Single mix 200 meters, and the SEA Age Group records in  freestyle 200 and 400 meters, Single mix 200 and 400 meters and Butterfly 200 meters.

Kamonchanok Kwanmuang was  selected Best  Swimmer for the SEA Age Group 2018.
