Miss Panipak Wongpattanakit, a Thai taekwando athlete in 49 Kg. class becomes the first Thai to win the World Grand Prix Final Championship, beating Miss Kim  So-Hui of the Republic of Korea, a Gold medalist at the 2016 Olympic Games with scores 25-11 in the the World Grand Prix Final Championship, held in Abidjan, Ivory coast  on 5 December 2017.
