The Thai golfer team comprising  Mr. Kammalas Namuangruk,  Mr. Sadom Kaewkanjana,  Mr. Kosuke Hamamoto and  Mr. Atiruj  Winaicharoenchai  won the first prize in the 28^th Asia-Pacific Team Championship or Nomura Cup, held at Sungai Long Golf & Country Club, Selangor, Malaysia during 9-12 November 2017.

            The Nomura Cup Golf  Tournament  was held every two years since 1963 in the country which takes turn to host the event. The Thai golfer team is the first ever Thai team to win the Nomura Cup, and the best team ever to win with  the lowest score since the inception of the tournament.
