The booking website Hotels.com disclosed the latest findings of the sixth annual, Chinese International Travel Monitor (CITM) that Thailand is the most welcoming country for Chinese travellers, overtaking Japan, the Republic of Korea and Hong Kong in 2017.

Hotels.com's sixth annual Chinese International Travel Monitor (CITM) reports that

this year's findings show that money spent on travelling has risen across all age brackets, with Chinese travellers spent an average of US$3,600 (121,000 baht) per person in the past 12 months more than a quarter of their income, and rose up 24% from the previous year.
