The U.S. News and  World Report  released a survey on the Best Places to Visit in Asia 2017. Phuket and Bangkok  were ranked third and eleventh respectively. Phuket won the high ranking with its green hills, wide beaches and cerulean waters whilst  Bangkok gained the ranking with the atmosphere of vibrant neighborhoods, flavorful Thai cuisine, nonstop nightlife and ample of shopping opportunities. Bali and Shanghai came first and second respectively in the Best Places to Visit in Asia 2017.
