On 6 December 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Ho Chi Minh Office, Thai Airways International, Thailand Foundation, the Thai business community in Vietnam and the Thai community in Hanoi, organized Thailand Day 2014 especially tourism, culture, food and fruits, as well as strengthening the Thai community in Hanoi and the Northern provinces.

The event had 4,000 visitors that included members of the diplomatic corps, foreigners and Thai people living in Hanoi and members of the Press. All proceeds of this event after deduction of costs will be donated to mobilizing resources to support Vietnamese impoverished children and to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children which is a Vietnamese Government agency.
