Panipak Wongpattanakit, Thailand’s female athletic ace, won the 6^th championship in 2019 by defeating Wu Jingyu from the People’s Republic of China in 49 kg. class in the Wuxi 2019 World Grand Slam Champion Series in Wuxi, the People’s Republic of China on 18 December 2019. Panipak Wongpattanakit is awarded the Female Athletic of the Year 2019 by the World Taekwondo Federation later on 20 December 2019.
