Atichai Phoemsap, World Junior Boxing Champion 2018 and Youth Olympic Games Boxing Champion 2018,  from Thailand B team defeated  Somchai Wongsuwan, Thailand A team and won Men’s Boxing Championship in 64 kg. class, and Best Boxer Awards in the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand on 27 July 2019. Thailand’s boxing team won 5 gold medals and 3 silver medals in the tournament.
