Muaythai  welcomed in Chile

            During 26-30 April 2018, Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Deputy Director-General of Department of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with Thailand Foundation and the Royal Thai Embassy in Santiago led Muaythai performers from Lanna Fighting Muaythai Camp to perform Ancient Muaythai Show at the Thai Festival held by the Royal Thai Embassy in Santiago, Santiago University, Chilean Olympic Sport Complex and the Chilean Infantry School and conducted workshops to train Muaythai techniques, which participated by a large number of enthusiastic persons.

            On this occasion, Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor met with the Chairman of the Chilean Olympic Committee and discussed on the inclusion of  Muaythai in the Olympic Games, which the Chilean side expressed its readiness to consider supporting  Muaythai to be included in the Olympic Games.
