According to latest Hotel Price Index (HPI) report of Hotels.com Indians mostly preferred short haul destinations in Asia while planning overseas trips last year, with Thailand emergning as the favourite destination. This was mainly due to 13 long weekends that influenced Indian travellers' choices to opt for short-haul holiday destinations. Bangkok topped the list of most preferred international destination by Indians in 2015 as it replaced Duba which was at the second spot.
