Tripadvisor has released its annual top 25 best beaches in the world 2015. The awards are based on the quantity and quality of traveler reviews for beaches gathered over 12 months. In addition to a global winners list, top beaches are listed by regions and countries, including lists for Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, the South Pacific, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Nai Harn beach, Thailand was at 18th on the list of top 25 best beaches in the world 2015. The world's best beach is Baia do Sancho on the Brazilian island of Fernando de Noronha. For the second year in a row, the golden crescent hugged by rocky cliffs has earned the No. 1 spot on the global list.
Nai Harn beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket. It's surrounded on both sides by jungle-covered mountains and there's a large freshwater lagoon inland. Nai Harn's usually busier at weekends as it is popular with both Thais and expats. Many tourists who come to Phuket never make it to this wonderful stretch of sand.
