Thailand ranks 6th place in the Global Health Security Index 2019

The Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Health Security in the United States of America and the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) released the Global Health Security Index 2019 report from the data and statistics of 195 countries around the world in the preparedness for epidemics and pandemics on 24 October 2019.  Thailand gained overall 73.2 points in prevent, detect, respond, health, norms and risk measures, and ranks 6th place out of 195 countries, the only developing country in top ten countries and the top country in Asia.
