Rating and Investment Information, Inc. (R&I), a credit rating service company based in Japan, has upgraded Thailand’s creditability from BBB+ level to A- level on 31 October 2019 from statistics and data compiled on economic performance and financial stability of Thailand  since July 2019. The contributing factors of Thailand include the Eastern Economic Corridor Project (EEC), Ongoing and Upcoming Infrastructure projects, and continued Investment Projects in Thailand.
