Bloomberg News Agency reported the 2019 Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index in October 2019.  The Index is a joint research collaboration between Monash Unversity of Australia and Mercer Company, a global consultant company providing professional services in business  and finance, to compare 37 retirement systems across the globe and assess the weighted average of the sub-indices of adequacy, sustainability and integrity to measure each retirement system.  The 2019 Index includes three new systems, Philippines, Thailand and Turkey.

Thailand scores 39.4 points in overall values, 35.8 points in sub-indices on adequacy, 38.8 points in sub-indices on sustainability and 46.1 points in sub-indices on integrity, and is ranked 37^th place in the Index.
