The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) based in Switzerland released World Competitiveness Ranking 2019 in September 2019.  Thailand moves up 5 levels to reach 25th level in 2019 from 30th level in 2018.

The IMD has confined the annual world competitiveness ranking to only 63 countries. The ranking was measured by the country’s economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure.
