Mastercard, a global credit card company, released the Global Destination Cities Index 2019 on 4 September 2019.  Based on the international overnight visitors statistics in 2018, Mastercard’s Global Destination Cities Index ranks Bangkok as the top destination for global travelers this year with 22.78 million visitors.  Bangkok has topped Mastercard’s Global Destination Cities Index for the fourth consecutive year.
