The Meeting on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in Geneva, Switzerland during 17-28 August 2019 agreed to the notion  that Thailand is not involved in illegal ivory trade as reported by the Thai delegation on  Thailand’s stringent measures to counter illegal ivory trade in Thailand during the past years.
