Thailand’s national junior boxers, Weerapon Jongjoho overcame Zhakpekov Yerassyl from Kazakhstan and won the gold medal in the Middleweight (75 kg.) whilst Sarayut Sukthet overcame Talgat Synymbetov from Kazakhstan and won the gold medal in the Flyweight (51 kg.) in the Junior and Youth International Boxing Tournament Gergely Bornemissza in Eger, Hungary on 15 June 2019.  Thailand’s Nillada Meekoon and Baison Manikon had to be content with silver medals in the Women’s  51 kg. and 69 kg. divisions respectively in the same tournament.
