Thai cuisine has made a name for itself again after “Nahm Restaurant” was ranked among one of the 50 world’s best restaurants 2012, according to The Restaurant magazine of the UK.
Awarded as No. 13 on the list, many people may wonder where this restaurant is. Starting at the beginning, “Nahm” firstly operated in London by Australian-born
chef David Thompson. “Nahm” established itself with an impressive reputation after becoming the first Thai restaurant to earn a Michelin star. Today “Nahm” proudly serves Thai traditional cuisine here in Bangkok. It is located on the ground floor of Metropolitan Bangkok Hotel. David Thompson, who fluent in Thai language, has fascinated people with the high quality and Thai authentic food. He has been gaining his expertise in Thai Cuisine by studying ancient recipes and cookbooks. Moreover, to experience
the real and original dishes, he has visited many places both inside and outside the city
that offered traditional and authentic Thai food.

delicious dishes at “Nahm” that people would not want to miss. To begin the set menu, “Nahm” serves some rare interesting Thai appetizers such as a mixture of mined shrimp, chicken and coconuts on top of pineapple named “Ma-Hor”, and grilled mussels with southern-style sauce called “Kor-Lae”. The next main courses offered on the set are,
for example, Chicken Tom Yum Soup and Stir-Fried Manical with special sauce recipe.
To end the course in Thai style, “Nahm” serves some signature desserts such as
Lot Chong (Rice Noodles with Coconut Cream) and Khanom Buang with Longan (Thai Crispy Pancake).
