Nong Ta Taem Sub-District Office, Pranburi District,  Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincereceived a prestigious United Nations Public Service Award (UNPSA) in Developing Effective Accountable Public Institutions from its entries, Self-Reliant Solar Energy Community in the announcement made in Baku, Azerbaijan on 24 June 2019.

Self-Reliant Solar Energy Community enables 100 per cent of households in Nong Ta Taem Sub-District to use electricity from solar energy and its learning center, which set up to educate the inhabitants to maintain and care for solar panels.
